Job Title: ECVC Attorney - Income Principal

Job Responsibilities:

The ECVC Attorney at the law firm will be responsible for engaging with a diverse range of business and corporate clients, providing strategic legal counseling and guidance. Key responsibilities include:

- Structuring and leading sophisticated transactions across various industry sectors.
- Representing early-stage and emerging brands and companies, with a focus on capital raise transactions that involve private offerings and financing from a range of sources, including friends and family, angel investors, venture capital funds, syndicates, and traditional banks.
- Working closely with talented attorneys across the law firm's six offices, providing hands-on, day-to-day counseling to both small and large business clients.
- Engaging in public company, capital markets, securities, and M&A transactions as needed.
- Participating in pro bono and public service matters, contributing to litigating significant cases that protect the rights of vulnerable populations.
- Contributing to the law firm’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, helping to break down institutional and cultural barriers and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Education and Experience Information:

Candidates for this position must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school and a license to practice law. Additionally, the candidate should possess:

- A minimum of 7 years of experience in representing early-stage brands in capital raise transactions, including private offerings and financing from various investors.
- Expertise in public company matters, capital markets, and M&A is advantageous.
- Strong academic credentials, along with excellent analytical and writing skills.
- A proven ability to manage significant individual responsibilities and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a client-service approach with exceptional communication capabilities.
- Enthusiasm for working as part of a diverse team or independently.

Salary Information:

The annualized salary range for this position is $200,000 to $325,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
