Job Title: Sourcing Manager, Professional Services and Consulting
Job Responsibilities:
- Direct management responsibilities for designated resources, team objectives, morale, and culture.
- Motivate the team to deliver outstanding sourcing objectives.
- Set individual goals and provide ongoing performance feedback and formal performance appraisals.
- Attract, hire, and retain top talent.
- Collaborate closely with internal business customers and suppliers on strategies and execution of complex sourcing projects.
- Actively partner with teams on strategic supplier performance initiatives to improve financial and operational performance.
- Build trusted relationships with senior internal leaders.
- Proactively seek value/savings and efficiency opportunities across category spend; negotiate and report in appropriate format.
- Demonstrate category expertise and business sense by defining category standards and operating procedures.
- Develop, issue, and lead RFx activity to find the best sourcing solutions that meet business and commercial requirements; lead commercial negotiations to ensure the company receives the best value and associated cost savings.
- Collaborate with legal for negotiations of large/high-risk agreements; ensure favorable commercial terms and mitigate risk.
- Report progress weekly, indicating work planning and work in progress. Add agreements, service details, and payment forecasts into procurement systems in a complete and timely manner.
- Drive continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
- Lead planning and direction of Sourcing/Procurement initiatives.
- Use and maintain procurement tools according to Global Procurement standards and expectations.
- Process contracts according to the company's Legal Playbook and policies.
- Apply supplier relationship management techniques to ensure the supply base provides the required level of services, including but not limited to supplier business reviews, spend analytics, etc.
Education and Experience Information:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; MBA or JD preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of people management experience in a fast-paced, enterprise-level environment with direct experience in sourcing Consulting and Professional Services and similar categories.
- Familiarity with fiscal planning cycles and ad hoc financial analysis.
- Experience leading RFx processes, contract negotiations, and supplier relationships.
- Sound understanding of procurement practices and techniques including the development and implementation of category management strategies, including those applicable to professional services and consulting categories.
- Ability to read and interpret contract specifications within the Procurement process.
- Knowledge of purchasing systems and order management software.
- Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with BI reporting and spend analysis.
- High attention to detail and the exercise of sound judgment and decision-making.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management, and social skills.
- Self-motivated to achieve results without requiring constant follow-up.
- Ability to navigate through ambiguous scenarios and translate insights into actionable sourcing strategies.
- Excellent emotional intelligence (EQ) and influencing skills to improve business dynamics both within Global Procurement and broadly across the company.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and customer management skills with the ability to influence key business decisions.
- Growth mindset—open to feedback, continuously improving, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Information:
- The . pay range for this position is $98,800 -- $214,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. More specific salary range information can be shared during the hiring process.
- For sales roles, starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
- For non-sales roles, starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
- Certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
