Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Transaction Manager to join the North American Operations (NA Ops) Real Estate Team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading teams to continue the expansion of the Amazon fulfillment network throughout North America. With a focus on both strategic and tactical operations, you will manage a high volume of large, complex transactions and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high volume deal flow of large, complex transactions for existing building retrofit leases, spec-to-suits, and build to suits.
- Innovate and execute processes and tools to ensure consistent and predictable deal execution at a fast pace.
- Create and implement metrics to measure and evaluate performance in the transaction process.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external partners to ensure deal expectations and requirements are met.
- Collaborate with various Amazon teams to deliver successful projects.
- Foster a culture of speed, flexibility, and frugality with all business partners.
- Travel throughout North America up to 30% of the time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Planning or similar.
- 5+ years experience in industrial or commercial real estate.
- 5+ years experience with transaction management.
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience developing and implementing process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business, real estate, finance, engineering or construction management.
- Juris Doctor degree.
- Experience in deal management in an industrial real estate operation with a national footprint.
- Experience developing and implementing process improvements.
- Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with municipal, state and regulatory jurisdictions.
- Data analysis proficiency in Excel and/or Tableau/BI.
- Ability to effectively communicate with various audiences.
- Track record of delivering high quality projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience building a network of investors, developers, contractors, consultants, engineers and attorneys.
- Experience negotiating land options, contracts, leases, development agreements and similar documents.

Salary Information:
- Base pay ranges from $116,900/year to $193,300/year, depending on geographic market and job-related factors.
- Additional compensation may be provided in the form of equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits.
