Job Title: Partnership Tax SALT Senior Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead large projects and innovate processes to maintain operational excellence.
- Interact with clients at a senior level to drive project success.
- Perform and oversee state and local tax return reviews and finalize compliance tasks.
- Coordinate with other departments within the company to prepare, review, and analyze reports necessary for the preparation of the company's tax returns.
- Communicate effectively to ensure overall success and collaboration across departments.
- Validate outcomes with clients, share alternative perspectives, and act on client feedback.
- Direct the team through complexity, demonstrating composure through ambiguous, challenging, and uncertain situations.
- Initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels and make difficult decisions to resolve issues hindering team effectiveness.
- Model and reinforce professional and technical standards, including adherence to the company's code of conduct and independence requirements.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in relevant roles is required.
- A Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Possession of CPA, EA, or membership in the Bar is preferred.
- Experience in performing state and local tax return reviews and monitoring tax compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in conducting tax research and solving complex issues.
- Experience working with financial statements and journal entries, as well as understanding financial systems and business processes.
- Ability to coordinate with other departments for tax preparation and innovate through new and existing technologies.

Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $89,000 - $315,000, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
- Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
- The listed salary range is specific to roles based in Maryland.

- The role requires up to 20% travel.
