Job Title: Sr. Trust Officer
Job Responsibilities:
The Sr. Trust Officer is responsible for managing a portfolio of fiduciary and investment management accounts for high-net-worth clients and beneficiaries, particularly those involving multi-generational families. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the administration and business development of complex investment management and trust accounts.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure trust product awareness and educate clients, associates, and Centers of Influence.
- Driving business development and retention efforts by working with teams.
- Assisting clients with their wealth planning needs and managing associated risks.
- Providing fiduciary administration support, including reviewing trust instruments, participating in discretionary matters, managing risk, and conducting periodic trust reviews.
- Supporting investment management accounts by coordinating account opening and closing, managing money movement, and maintaining accounts.
- Engaging with clients and prospects to build and transfer wealth tailored to their unique goals, while delivering a high-quality experience.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements related to client accounts and portfolios.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities by pursuing new or expanded relationships with existing clients and prospects.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience is desired, with a preference for a minimum of 5 years of trust administration and estate planning experience.
- A fiduciary professional with certifications such as CTFA, CFP, AEP, JD, or CPA is preferred, or the candidate should be within 6 months of obtaining certification.
- Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

- Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- High level of sophistication regarding high-net-worth clients' concerns and issues.
- Ability to communicate and connect effectively with high-net-worth clients.
- Skills in risk management, business development, client management, wealth planning, customer and client focus, client experience branding, client solutions advisory, process management, decision making, presentation skills, prospecting, financial analysis, attention to detail, critical thinking, and planning.
Salary Information:
The pay range for the Sr. Trust Officer position is $95, to $200, annualized. Offers will be determined based on experience, education, and skill set. The role is eligible for discretionary incentives, allowing participation in the annual discretionary plan. Employees may receive an annual discretionary award based on individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group, and the overall success of the company.
