Job Title:
Manager/Director - National Exempt Tax

Job Responsibilities:
- Serve tax-exempt clients in the Healthcare, Higher Education, and Nonprofit industries with a high impact, demonstrating command of a major area of specialization.
- Demonstrate deep technical skills and possess industry-related knowledge.
- Excel in engagement management and operational excellence.
- Assist clients with meeting their tax and day-to-day compliance needs.
- Research and draft technical tax memoranda on various tax issues for clients.
- Review and sign a variety of exempt organization returns and serve as a subject matter expert when appropriate.
- Develop and mentor staff and oversee client engagement teams.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting and/or professional services firm.
- Experience specializing in tax-exempt organizations is preferred.
- CPA required (JD or Enrolled Agent (EA) may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification).

Salary Information:
- The wage range for this position is $118,000 – $224,000.
- Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
