We are transitioning from reactionary legal decision making to using legal decisions to drive our company's growth. Wage:
- $70,000 - $150,000 annual salary (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary front line responder for all legal matters related to our operations, including registered agent service, corporate filings, software as a service, and physical locations in every state
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and regulations in our operations, including city and state regulations, intellectual property rights, and data privacy
- Manage trademarks and servicemarks in all 50 states and federal registrations
- Handle UDRP and Icann registrations, complaints, and responses
- Maintain terms of service, privacy policies, and data collection and retention policies
- Assist with HIPPA and PCI compliance regulations
- Provide support for random employment problems and respond to subpoenas
- Manage service agreements with vendors and clients
- Oversee 3-4 acquisitions per year, including stock purchases, asset purchases, and website purchases
- Support all employees and managers with legal questions and decisions
- Explore and develop new business ventures in the legal services industry
- Use legal decisions to drive our company's growth

Requirements:

- Some experience with HR, general business, and commercial property law

- Competitive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Bonus points for 5+ years experience with Intellectual Property, knowledge of ICANN and domain names, and current experience with trademarks and service marks
