Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Contract Administrator (Level 4) to join their team in El Segundo, CA. This position offers a 9/80 schedule. The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for contract proposal preparation, negotiations, administration, and customer contract activities. They will also serve as the primary interface with the customer, ensuring that contractual obligations are met and changes are managed effectively. This role will have significant visibility within high-visibility programs and requires the ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review terms and conditions and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Develop solutions for routine and complex contractual matters
- Assist management in achieving financial goals related to cash management and sales
- Communicate with internal and external customers regarding contractual matters
- Maintain contract data and ensure timely delivery of deliverables and invoices
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or Master's degree with 6 years of experience in contracts management/administration or related field
- Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and/or government regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- US citizenship required
- Aerospace/Defense industry experience
- Active DOD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience negotiating FAR terms and conditions
- Advanced degree in law, business, or related field

Salary Range: $109, - $164,
