Job Title: 2026 2L Summer Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The 2026 2L Summer Associate role at the law firm is designed to provide law students with comprehensive exposure to various aspects of legal practice within the firm. Summer Associates will participate in the Firmwide Summer Training Programs, which feature a robust curriculum and opportunities to interact with other Summer Associates across the firm. Within their local offices, Summer Associates will engage in conferences, practice group sessions, depositions, trials, and other court proceedings. They will also participate in labor arbitrations, administrative proceedings, and business transaction closings. The firm ensures that Summer Associates work on multiple projects across different practice areas and with a variety of lawyers to gain a well-rounded experience.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the 2026 2L Summer Associate position must be rising 2L students, specifically those who will be part of the Class of 2027. It is required that applicants have completed two years of law school prior to the commencement of the 2026 Summer Program. The firm is seeking candidates with superior academic records, high levels of initiative and motivation, excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and extracurricular involvement and leadership experience.

Salary Information:
The annualized gross salary for Seattle Summer Associates at the law firm is expected to be $225,000. This salary will be pro-rated and payable in semi-monthly installments. The salary is subject to industry, market, and economic conditions. While this position is not benefits-eligible, paid holidays are offered to Summer Associates.
