Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm based in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a driven and detail-oriented litigation associate to support its complex litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in briefing Daubert and Rule 702 motions, with a strong background in pharmaceutical and medical device matters. This position offers a hybrid work structure and the opportunity to lead, strategize, and make meaningful contributions to high-profile matters across the country.
Duties:
Draft and revise discovery responses, legal memoranda, motions, and briefs
Handle communications with clients and third-party experts
Assist in formulating litigation strategies
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys
Conduct and support depositions and factual investigations
Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams across jurisdictions
Requirements:
At least 3 years of complex litigation experience, preferably with a national or international law firm
Demonstrated expertise in Rule 702 and Daubert motion practice
Experience in product liability, particularly in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation
Licensed to practice law in California; additional bar admissions (., New York) a plus
Prior exposure to managing expert witnesses and scientific evidence is preferred
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited . law school
Strong academic performance from a top-tier institution
Certifications:
Active membership in the California Bar
