Job Title: Sales Operations Analyst 5

Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Sales Operations Analyst 5 is to act as a Complex Contract Negotiator, focusing on negotiating and managing intricate, high-value professional services and managed applications services contracts. This role demands a blend of legal expertise, business acumen, and strong negotiation skills to ensure that agreements align with the company's goals while minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Negotiation and Drafting of Software Agreements: Engage in discussions with customers to structure favorable terms, draft nonstandard contract terms to ensure favorable outcomes, and mitigate risks for complex contracts. This includes handling Professional Services Contracts, Cloud Service Agreements, and Partnership and Reseller Agreements.
- Financial Selling and Positioning: Collaborate with the Sales team to review competitors, assess customer requirements, and prepare TCO/ROI analysis to aid in pricing strategies. Assist in positioning with key stakeholders such as the CFO/CEO.
- Complex Pricing: Obtain Bill of Materials from Solution Manager, calculate solution prices, and review pricing elements to achieve target prices.
- Risk Management: Assess and manage financial, operational, and legal risks associated with contracts. Advise stakeholders on potential risks and suggest modifications to protect the organization's interests.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure that contractual terms align with product offerings, pricing models, and strategic objectives.
- Contract Management: Oversee the contract lifecycle from initial drafting to negotiation and final execution.
- Internal Guidance: Provide guidance to sales teams on understanding contract terms, including commercial, legal, and compliance considerations.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a Juris Doctor (JD) or an advanced degree in Business (MBA) or Contract Management.
- Certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), and Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) are beneficial.
- Candidates should have 5+ years of experience negotiating and drafting complex technology agreements, preferably within the software, SaaS, or tech industries.
- Advanced knowledge of contract law, particularly related to software and technology contracts, is essential.
- Proven experience with licensing, SaaS agreements, software development contracts, and IP protection is required.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and cloud service provider agreements is necessary.
- Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.) as they relate to SaaS and software.

Salary Information:
- The hiring range in USD is $97,500 to $199,500 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
