Infrastructure and Major Projects - Associate/Managing Associate

Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be part of the Infrastructure and Major Projects Team, advising clients at all stages of the project lifecycle from inception to completion and on operational matters. The sectors involved include Regeneration, Infrastructure, Transport, Warehousing & Logistics, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Clean Energy, Waste & Sustainability. The role involves:

- Advising on PFI/PPP contract management, including variations, refinancing, asset management, expiry, and hand back.
- Handling PFI/PPP secondary market transactions.
- Engaging in Infrastructure M&A activities.
- Advising on commercial contracts across the broader infrastructure sector.
- Providing guidance on projects and transactions within the renewables/net zero sector, such as solar, wind, battery storage, energy from waste, EV, bioenergy, offshore transmission, and district heating.
- Contributing to the development and growth of the department.
- Playing a key role in business development initiatives.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and clients.
- Working flexibly to meet the needs of the clients and the team.

Education and Experience Information:
The position is suited for an ambitious Projects and Infrastructure lawyer from a well-regarded National or City practice. The candidate should have experience in a broad range of domestic and international projects. Synergies with the Team’s current practice are desirable, providing a 360-degree service in development and transactional project management. Experience in the clean energy and transport sectors is particularly valued.
