Position Summary

- Seeking a leader and strategic thinker with extensive knowledge in multiple areas of taxation
- Deliver compliance and consulting services to individual clients, trusts, estates, family offices, investment vehicles, and closely-held businesses

Responsibilities

- Perform high-level reviews of tax research and work papers for individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporation, estate, and gift tax returns
- Lead client meetings on compliance and consulting projects related to tax planning and transaction implications
- Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors
- Take on lead client-contact roles, billing and profitability analysis, and participate in marketplace eminence building and pursuits

The Team

- Private Wealth team specializes in the needs of the ultra-affluent, including families with multigenerational wealth, entrepreneurs, family offices, and closely-held business owners
- Provide comprehensive, independent, and objective wealth transfer planning advice
- Help clients make informed decisions about their personal financial comfort, business and investment needs, family legacy, and charitable giving

Qualifications

Required

- Able to work within a hybrid work model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week
- 8+ years of public accounting experience (at least 3 years in investment management) or equivalent in law firms or industry
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- Experience reviewing partnership and/or trust documents
- Experience managing projects, including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and billing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%, depending on the work and clients served
- Active accreditation as a CPA, attorney, or Enrolled Agent

Preferred

- Advanced degree, such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM
- Prior Big 4 or large CPA firm experience
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting

Salary Information

- Wage range for this role is $119,490 to $272,090, taking into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business needs
- Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program, dependent on individual and organizational performance
