**Members Only** is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Tax Senior Manager to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice. In this role, you will work with multi-state companies to provide state and local income tax compliance services. As part of a dynamic and diverse team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your subject matter expertise and industry knowledge to assist clients in navigating complex tax issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide state and local income tax compliance services to multi-state companies
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to offer industry-specific knowledge and experience
- Review state income and franchise tax estimated payments before, during, and after preparation
- Develop and maintain client relationships, while also mentoring and managing staff
- Monitor risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets
- Identify new opportunities for growth within the **Members Only** tax practice by working with other professionals
Qualifications:
- Minimum eight years of recent experience in state income tax compliance for corporations, partnerships, or pass-through entities
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field of study; licensed CPA, JD/LLM, EA, or MTX preferred
- Experience working with public companies and strong knowledge of relevant state tax concepts
- Ability to build relationships and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- Previous experience mentoring and counseling staff
- Excellent writing, communication, and tax compliance skills
**Members Only** is committed to providing competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package to our employees. The salary range for this position in California is $130,900 - $284,400. The final salary offered will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and market conditions.
