- Salary range: $134,320 - $214,390 (based on experience and location)

Job Title:
- Insurance Defense Supervising Attorney - Los Angeles

Experience:
- At least 2 years as a Senior Trial Attorney or comparable outside experience
- Management experience or demonstrated management aptitude

Responsibilities:
- Competent, ethical, and diligent representation of clients in assigned cases
- Assigning cases to attorneys based on skill and expertise levels
- Training attorneys and others to improve their expertise
- Performing managerial and administrative tasks as assigned
- Informing managing attorney of any case activity problems
- Supervising maintenance of computerized litigation support systems
- Consulting with and providing opinions to the Claims Department on insurance policy and legal matters
- Supervising cases of greatest complexity and/or exposure, including preparation of legal documents, attendance at hearings and trials, and other necessary tasks to properly represent clients
- Functionally supervising attorneys as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Law school degree and member in good standing of the State Bar in the state of position

Experience Requirements:
- At least 2 years as a Senior Trial Attorney or comparable outside experience
- Management experience or demonstrated management aptitude
