Job Title: Tax Director - Private Companies
Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Director within the department, you will be part of a team that provides business advisory services to private companies, focusing on audit, tax compliance, and planning to enhance operational efficiency and strategic focus. You will work throughout the business life cycle of private companies, from inception to growth, maturity, and transition. The responsibilities include:
- Providing customized service plans for privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals.
- Addressing key issues such as wealth management, compliance, cash flow management, equity expansion, divestiture, and exit strategies.
- Supporting the team to disrupt, improve, and evolve ways of working when necessary.
- Arranging and sponsoring appropriate assignments and experiences to help team members realize their potential.
- Identifying market gaps and spotting opportunities to create value propositions.
- Seeking opportunities to scale efficiencies and develop new ways of working across multiple projects.
- Creating an environment where people and technology thrive together to achieve more.
- Promoting and encouraging the value of diversity in teams.
- Driving and taking ownership of developing connections that deliver optimal outcomes for people and stakeholders.
- Influencing and facilitating the creation of long-term relationships that add value to the company.

Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 8 years
- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
- Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
- Deep understanding of tax compliance and consulting for various entities, including corporations, partnerships, pass-through entities, and Subchapter S corporations.
- Technical prowess with ASC740.
- Skills in identifying and addressing client needs, developing and sustaining client relationships.
- Networking, negotiation, and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities.
- Ability to prepare and present complex written and verbal materials.
- Skills in defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $140,900 - $434,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. The actual compensation within this range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
