Job Overview

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking junior to midlevel associates to join its Intellectual Property Disputes practice. This role is ideal for attorneys with 1–5 years of experience in a large law firm environment and a strong technical background. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex IP litigation matters, particularly patent disputes involving cutting-edge technologies, across multiple major . offices.

Location

Duties

  • Represent clients in patent and other intellectual property litigation

  • Draft and review legal filings, pleadings, and motions

  • Conduct legal research and fact investigation

  • Handle discovery, including depositions and document production

  • Assist in developing case strategies and preparing for hearings and trials

  • Collaborate with cross-office legal teams, clients, and subject matter experts

  • Participate in client meetings and maintain regular client communication

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of litigation experience at a large law firm

  • Experience or demonstrated interest in intellectual property disputes

  • Licensed and in good standing with the bar of the applicable state

  • Technical background or relevant experience in engineering or computer science preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited . law school

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in the jurisdiction of the office location applied to

    • Electrical Engineering
