A law firm in Raleigh is seeking a highly qualified Tax Associate Attorney or Of Counsel to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building and expanding the firm's existing tax practice. This position offers significant client interaction opportunities and the potential for long-term leadership growth within the firm.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services to clients, focusing on estate planning.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to tax laws, regulations, and precedent.
• Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to address complex tax issues.
• Represent clients in tax controversies and disputes, including negotiations with tax authorities.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate or higher degree in Law from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in estate planning.
• Demonstrated expertise in tax law and estate planning strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Admittance to the State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.

Education:

Juris Doctorate or higher degree in Law from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

Admittance to the State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
