This position provides an excellent opportunity for attorneys with a background in insurance defense to work alongside a partner or independently manage a caseload. Duties

• Handle civil litigation cases, focusing on insurance defense matters.
• Manage all aspects of case development, including depositions, law and motion practice, discovery, and client reporting.
• Represent clients in arbitrations, mediations, and trials, ensuring strong advocacy and presentation in court.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and preparation.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain a high standard of work quality.
• Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and strategic legal guidance.

Requirements

• 2 to 7+ years of experience in civil litigation, preferably with a focus on insurance defense.
• Strong knowledge of legal procedures and litigation tactics, including depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with colleagues.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience managing a caseload, meeting deadlines, and providing excellent client service.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active and valid license to practice law in California.
