Job Duties:

• Conduct patent prosecution and portfolio management on a global scale.
• Provide expertise in freedom to operate and patent clearance analyses.
• Handle licensing and other technology transactions.
• Conduct due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions in the intellectual property domain.

Requirements:

• Registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-14 years of relevant experience in intellectual property law.
• Excellent academic record and proficient writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Superior judgment and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Articulate legal strategies and courses of action effectively.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in the state of California.
