Job Description:

- Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our team at a leading law firm in Skokie, IL
- Must have at least 5-7 years of experience in tax return drafting and reviewing
- Comprehensive understanding of individual and business tax returns is a must
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance of clients' tax filings
- Manage a team of professionals and report directly to the Tax Compliance Partner
- Work closely with clients, team members, and other departments to deliver exceptional tax services

Responsibilities:

- Collect relevant tax forms from clients
- Inform clients throughout the tax preparation process
- Input data into tax return software (Lacerte)
- Complete and self-review tax returns
- Oversee junior tax return preparers
- Act as the client relationship S, 1065)
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledge of Lacerte tax software preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage files for multiple clients
- EA certification required, CPA or JD preferred
- Experience managing at least 1 direct report

Salary:

$100,000 - $110,000 per year
