Duties:

  • Handle and manage patent litigation cases, specifically focusing on Hatch-Waxman or biotherapeutics cases in District Court or before the PTAB.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide strategic legal analysis.
  • Mentor and manage more junior associates, fostering their professional development.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve successful case outcomes.
  • Utilize strong research, writing, and analytic skills to contribute to case strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of prior work experience in patent litigation, with a focus on Hatch-Waxman or biotherapeutics cases.
  • Technical life science undergraduate and/or graduate degree preferred.
  • Excellent academic credentials and references.
  • Current license to practice law in CA or eligibility to become licensed.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
