Job Overview: A law firm in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate or Junior Partner-Level Attorney to take on a leadership role in defending a diverse array of clients in Missouri Workers' Compensation cases. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing their own caseload, overseeing a dedicated staff, and ensuring the effective resolution of cases through trials, appeals, and negotiations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team, overseeing staff, and acting as the team leader in the defense of Missouri Workers' Compensation cases.
  • Take depositions, conduct trials and appeals independently, and manage a high-impact caseload.
  • Maintain a profound understanding of evolving legal landscapes and stay updated on relevant legal developments.
  • Craft persuasive arguments, both in writing and speech, to effectively represent clients.
  • Uncover critical legal insights and evidence to build compelling cases.
  • Dissect complex legal issues with keen analytical thinking.
  • Build strong relationships and rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently, ensuring thorough attention to detail.
  • Achieve favorable settlements through effective negotiation.
  • Orchestrate tasks for maximum productivity, inspiring support staff and paralegals to meet deadlines and expectations.

Requirements:

  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
  • Prior experience in Workers’ Compensation law is preferred.
  • Preference is given to attorneys who bring forth their own base of clients.

Education and Certifications:
