This role will involve providing strategic counsel to various teams within Uber, as well as working closely with the leader of the Delivery Marketing Legal team to advise on other areas of Marketing law within Uber Eats, Postmates, Grocery, and Retail. H2: What You'll Do As a Counsel for Ads & Marketing Legal, your responsibilities will include: - Being the go-to person for all Alcohol Marketing Law issues within the Marketing Legal team, working closely with teams globally throughout Uber. - Providing ongoing legal support for marketing activities across the Delivery Marketing Legal team, including Uber Eats, Postmates, Grocery, and Retail. - Acting as the point person for Marketing Law in the US for other restricted item verticals. - Updating and maintaining marketing playbooks and guidelines based on applicable laws, rules, and regulatory developments. - Collaborating on and drafting internal training on relevant issues. - Working with stakeholders to implement changes in internal processes. H2: Basic Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing Legal work and at least 1 year of experience in Alcohol Marketing. - Experience with tied house rules, FTC and TTB regulations, and alcohol industry guidelines. - . H2: Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are preferred for this role: - Experience reviewing and advising on consumer protection, marketing legal issues & advertising campaigns across mediums. - Excellent business judgment, ability to build credibility, great communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced environment, both collaborating as a team and working independently. - Confidence and flexibility to operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. - High standards of integrity, ethics, and accountability. - A go-getter attitude and enthusiasm for Uber. H2: Salary and Benefits For this role, the base salary range is USD$198,000 - USD$220,000 per year for both San Francisco and New York locations. Employees will also be eligible for Uber's bonus program and may be offered an equity award and other types of compensation.
