Law Firm is looking for a highly qualified Patent Prosecution Associate or Patent Agent with experience in drafting and patent prosecution and a mechanical engineering degree to join its Intellectual Property Practice Group. The successful candidate must possess: • IP experience with drafting and patent prosecution • A mechanical engineering degree (advanced degrees and/or work experience prior to law school strongly preferred) • USPTO membership • Familiarity with machinery, mechanical and/or electro-mechanical systems • IP transactional experience is a plus Associates must have 4 or more years of experience and must be licensed to practice law in Texas (Houston office) or Georgia (Atlanta office). Patent agents must have 5 or more years of experience.
