Responsibilities:


• Advocate and represent clients in personal injury cases, including pre-litigation and litigation stages
• Conduct legal research and provide guidance on complex legal issues
• Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and other attorneys
• Manage and prioritize a high volume caseload
• Participate in case strategy discussions and provide recommendations
• Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management
• Keep up-to-date with changes in the law and participate in continuing education opportunities
• Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set forth by the state bar association

Qualifications:


• JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Kentucky
• 2 or more years of experience in personal injury law
• Experience in both pre-litigation and litigation stages
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Excellent research and writing abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage a high volume caseload
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
