A law firm seeks a Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney for their Palo Alto, CA location.

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney will play a vital role in handling intellectual property matters, especially patent and/or trade secret litigation, and providing counsel to clients.

Duties:

• Advocate for clients in intellectual property litigation cases, emphasizing patent and/or trade secret disputes.
• Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and client advisement.
• Prepare and draft various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and client correspondences.
• Participate actively in all stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and partners to develop effective case strategies and manage client relationships.
• Offer legal guidance and assistance to clients on a diverse range of intellectual property issues.

Requirements:

• Must be admitted to a State Bar.
• Strong academic background in law and undergraduate studies is highly valued.
• Preferred undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Genetics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property matters, particularly in patent and/or trade secret litigation.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic, leadership skills, and willingness to assume increased responsibilities.
• Exceptional research and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of legal and business principles relevant to intellectual property cases.

Education/Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to a State Bar.
