Position Summary:

Organization is looking for a Paralegal to join their team. The successful candidate will provide legal research and paralegal support services to the organization. This position is located in Cleveland, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform legal research and provide paralegal support services
- Assist attorneys in trial preparations and aid in the preparation of responsive court papers
- Organize case files
- Summarize depositions
- Draft correspondence
- Draft and/or review contracts
- Research legal issues presented, case law on topic, and arguments asserted by pleadings to appropriately respond
- Assist docket clerk with court filings and deliveries
- Follow all operations and safety policies and safe work practices
- Attend and participate in operations and safety training classes and demonstrate competence
- Wear and properly utilize safety equipment in accordance with Divisional policy at all times

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Must satisfy one or more of the following requirements:
- Graduate of an American Bar Association accredited paralegal program with an Associate’s Degree with Paralegal certificate
- Obtained a Law Degree from an American Bar Association accredited institution
- Have a minimum of three (3) years paid full time experience working in a law firm, corporate law department or other litigation support capacity as a paralegal
- Knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word and Westlaw software
- Familiar with internet resources including general and legal research
