Overview:
- Lewis Brisbois, a top AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join their Sacramento office.
- This is a full-time, regular position in the Attorney category.

Job Description:
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2-7 years of experience defending Workers' Compensation claims in California, including appearing before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB).
- Experience with the Workers' Compensation Disability Rating Scale is preferred but not required.
- Admission to the California Bar is required.

Responsibilities:
- The Workers' Compensation Practice at Lewis Brisbois represents third-party administrators, insurance carriers, and employers in defending against employee claims.
- Attorneys in this practice have extensive experience in all areas of workers' compensation and are skilled in discovery and trial work.
- The firm has a successful track record of defending against large exposure cases, including fibromyalgia, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, psych and stress claims, asbestos claims, and more common orthopedic, psych, and internal injury claims.

Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive compensation package.
- Lewis Brisbois offers a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k with employer contribution, and a bonus for meeting minimum hourly requirements.
- Minimum salary of $130,000 per year and maximum salary of $160,000 per year.

Qualifications:
- Admission to the California Bar is required.
- Minimum of 2-7 years of experience defending Workers' Compensation claims in California.
- Experience appearing before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) is required.
- Experience with the Workers' Compensation Disability Rating Scale is preferred.
- Strong communication and trial skills.
