The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting litigation cases related to trusts and estates, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and participating in hearings and trials. The candidate should have a strong understanding of legal principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with senior attorneys.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation cases
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Assist with case management and organization of documents
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client communication
  • Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements
  • Conduct legal administrative tasks as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar Association
  • Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures related to litigation
  • Proficiency in using legal research platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
  • Experience in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs (preferably)
  • Familiarity with conducting legal research using various sources (preferably)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
