Assistant District Attorney – Superior Court: Job Summary
The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office is seeking an experienced Assistant District Attorney to represent the Commonwealth in various courts in Plymouth County, as well as other counties. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate and license to practice in MA
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities:
- Represent the Commonwealth in criminal prosecutions
- Conduct grand jury investigations
- Handle arraignments, pre-trial hearings, and trials
- Serve in an "on-call capacity" as needed
- Mentor other Assistant District Attorneys
- Collaborate with colleagues and community partners
- Review charging decisions and make appropriate recommendations
- Keep updated on relevant court decisions and legislation
- Interact with victims and witnesses professionally and compassionately
- Manage crises in a calm and professional manner

Additional Duties:
- Familiarize with and follow office policies
- Participate in relevant trainings
- Communicate with office staff and other parties as required by law
- Complete administrative duties
- Perform any other duties assigned by the District Attorney or First Assistant District Attorney
