Job Title: Patent Prosecution and Litigation Technical Advisor (Electrical Engineering & Software)

Job Location: Wilmington, DE

Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Advisor to join their Patent Prosecution & Litigation Practice Group. The role will focus on Electrical Engineering and Software, supporting patent prosecution and litigation matters, with a primary emphasis on technologies related to electrical engineering and software.

Duties:

• Assist in patent prosecution and litigation processes related to electrical engineering and software technologies.
• Provide technical expertise in areas including, but not limited to, wireless communication, 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards.
• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare and file patent applications.
• Conduct detailed patent searches and provide analysis of patentability and infringement matters.
• Support the preparation of legal briefs, technical reports, and other documentation for litigation.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical information both orally and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with legal professionals.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Skills:

• In-depth understanding of electrical engineering and software technologies.
• Familiarity with wireless communication standards such as 5G, 6G, and 3GPP is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise legal documentation.
