Law Offices of Tyler Q. Dahl: Senior & Associate Attorneys The Law Offices of Tyler Q. Dahl is seeking a driven, personable and innovative Senior or Associate Attorney to join their team. With a focus on customer service, relationship-based legal representation, and providing superior legal services with the client’s best interests in mind, the right candidate will have a strong desire to help others. The firm provides ongoing training regarding substantive law, as well as continued support in the attorney’s caseload and projects. The attorney will also have access to the career and professional development resources of the firm and founding attorney. Responsibilities Meeting with and advising clients via telephone, in person, and video regarding a variety of legal matters in the firm’s practice areas Reviewing, preparing, and supervising the preparation of legal documents such as Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, business contracts, deeds, leases, and LLC and corporate formation documents Filing and advising clients regarding trademark applications Managing own caseload of Estate Planning, Business, Probate, and Trust Administration cases with varying degrees of supervision (as needed) Performing legal research to assist clients in their case evaluations and strategies Attending hearings on behalf of clients in probate court (non-contested) Communicating with the Principal Attorney, Senior Attorney, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently Contributing to increasing firm efficiency and development of processes and procedures Performing additional related duties as assigned Qualifications Juris Doctorate (.) degree is required from an accredited law school License to practice law in California after passing the bar exam Empathetic with a strong desire to help others Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills Experience and comfort with various technology platforms, such as Wealth Counsel, Practice Panther, Decision Vault, Lawyaw, and others Strong legal research skills High attention to detail Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an attorney in the area of Trusts & Estates, Business Law, and/or Tax Law (relating to Trusts & Estates and businesses) Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Why Join Us?
