Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a motivated Banking and Lending Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of relevant experience to join its team. The ideal candidate will have experience with banking and finance transactions, including loan agreements, loan modifications, and due diligence related to title and surveys. Location:

Duties:

• Assist in a broad range of banking and finance transactions.
• Review and draft loan agreements and loan modifications.
• Conduct due diligence, including reviewing title, surveys, and related documents.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients regarding banking, lending, and finance matters.
• Work directly with clients and senior attorneys to resolve complex legal issues.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of relevant experience in banking, lending, or finance transactions.
• Ability to waive into the Virginia Bar a plus.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Bar admission in Virginia (or eligibility to waive in).

Skills:

• Solid understanding of banking, lending, and finance transactions.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
