Baker Botts LLP is currently seeking a junior associate to join our Privacy and Cybersecurity practice group in any of our domestic offices. The ideal candidate will have one to two years of experience in advising on privacy and cybersecurity issues, including risk advisory and compliance counseling, corporate and technology transactions, regulatory or governmental investigations, cyber incident response, and privacy litigation. Experience with prominent privacy and security frameworks, such as the GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, NIST, or other similar frameworks, is a plus. Candidates with a license or the ability to waive in the jurisdiction in which they are applying are preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on privacy and cybersecurity issues, including risk assessment and compliance counseling.
- Handle corporate and technology transactions related to privacy and cybersecurity.
- Assist with regulatory or governmental investigations.
- Manage cyber incident response for clients.
- Represent clients in privacy litigation.
- Stay up-to-date on privacy and security frameworks and advise clients accordingly.

Qualifications:
- One to two years of experience in privacy and cybersecurity law.
- Knowledge of prominent privacy and security frameworks, such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, NIST, etc.
