The law firm is currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our busy patent counseling & prosecution practice as a Patent Agent/Tech Advisor. The ideal candidate will have a degree in material science, chemical, mechanical or biomedical engineering (or a related field) and substantive industry experience. This position offers a high salary range and generous benefits for qualified candidates.

Job Description:

- Conduct prior art database searches for patentability and freedom to operate analyses
- Analyze patent and scientific papers and documents to assist patent attorneys on patent prosecution, counseling, and litigation
- Draft patent applications and responses to office actions
- Provide technical support and expertise in material science and/or chemical engineering
- Possess superb technical, written, and verbal communication skills in English
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

Salary Information:

- Expected Annual Pay Range: $125,000 - $205,000 (final offer amount dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of candidate)
- Pay Type: Salary
