The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project development, permitting, land use and zoning, regulatory compliance, and experience before state and governmental agencies. Additionally, experience in energy supply and other contract matters and transactions is desired. Superior analytical, drafting, and client skills are required for this position. Responsibilities: • Provide legal counsel on sophisticated energy and utilities law matters • Handle project development, permitting, land use and zoning, and regulatory compliance • Represent clients before state and governmental agencies • Negotiate and draft contracts related to energy supply and other transactions • Provide superior analytical and drafting skills • Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide excellent client service Requirements: • 4-6 years of experience in energy/utilities law industries • Experience in project development, permitting, land use and zoning, regulatory compliance, and representing clients before state and governmental agencies • Strong analytical and drafting skills • Excellent client service and relationship-building abilities Salary: Annual salary range for this position is $130,000-$210,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on location, experience, or other job-related factors permitted by law.
