This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in complex real estate transactions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in joint ventures, development projects, acquisitions, dispositions, real estate M&A, and financings.

The Real Estate Practice at Law Firm is a dynamic group with a broad range of clients across the United States and internationally. These clients include private equity and investment funds, real estate operating companies, development partners, S&P 500 REITs, financial institutions, and other institutional investors. The firm's Real Estate Practice is known for its expertise in the hospitality and healthcare sectors.

The chosen associate will have the opportunity to work with attorneys both locally and across the firm, regardless of their assigned office. This provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to different practices and work with a diverse group of clients. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills and a deep understanding of the business of real estate investing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in all aspects of complex real estate transactions, including joint ventures, development projects, acquisitions, dispositions, real estate M&A, and financings
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Review and analyze due diligence materials
- Communicate with clients and other attorneys both locally and across the firm
- Participate in business development and marketing initiatives

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in complex real estate transactions
- Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the business of real estate investing
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to the Bar in the state of practice
