# Insurance Defense Litigation Associate at Law Firm

Law Firm is searching for an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Associate for its’ South Florida offices - either in Miami or Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will have requisite experience in litigating first-party property damage insurance claims.

## Qualifications

* Strong academic credentials
* Excellent communication skills
* Computer proficiency
* Ability to manage and prioritize caseloads
* Ability to handle complex matters
* Legal research skills
* Ability to draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
* Ability to take depositions and examinations under oath
* Ability to render opinions on liability, damages and the value of a case
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to providing the highest quality client service
* Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly
* Detail-oriented
* General commercial litigation experience is a plus

* Ability to travel as required for trials, hearings, depositions, and re-inspections
