We are seeking a talented and motivated trademark paralegal to join our integrated intellectual property legal capability and support the diverse, global businesses of the Koch companies. This role requires a passion for brands, initiative, and the ability to work independently on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the administration of Koch's global trademark portfolios.
- Conduct trademark clearance searches and provide recommendations for copyright filings.
- Research enforcement matters and draft cease and desist letters.
- Communicate with outside counsel and Koch team members to ensure accurate tracking of deadlines.
- Compile information for portfolio reviews and maintenance filings.
- Create new matters in team databases and maintain electronic files for IP matters.

Qualifications:

- Experience with trademark clearance searches.
- Understanding of Intellectual Property terminology.
- Familiarity with US and Foreign Trademark and Copyright office procedures.
- preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with USPTO and WIPO document preparation and filing.
- Familiarity with docketing and workflow systems.
- Prior in-house IP paralegal experience.
- Patent experience.
- Global trademark portfolio administration experience.
- Familiarity with AI tools and legal front door technologies.
