In this role, you will primarily support and counsel the IT and Legal Affairs organizations on technology-related matters and initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stay updated on emerging legal trends, and provide strategic counsel on technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of technology contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Advise on data privacy and security issues for technology contracts and related matters
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to assess legal risks and provide strategic counsel on technology initiatives
- Stay updated on emerging legal trends in technology and contribute to the development of company information policies and practices
- Manage and resolve technology-related disputes
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making on technology-related projects
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs on technology legal matters
- Coordinate with the Sourcing organization on strategic IT sourcing initiatives
- Create and provide training on data protection playbooks, guidelines, and self-service tools

Qualifications:

- from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership (preferred)
- 8+ years of experience with a focus on technology law in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide practical legal advice and manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively
- 5+ years of experience negotiating complex global technology contracts (preferred)
- German language fluency (preferred)
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures (preferred)
- Understanding of and experience in advising clients in a diversified business environment (preferred)
- Ability to balance business needs, compliance obligations, and reputational risks in an objective, practical way
- Reputation for integrity and ability to balance business partnership with the need to exercise independent judgment

Work Location:

Salary Information:

The expected compensation range for this position is $215,577 - $263,483, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors such as relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, disability benefits, life insurance, voluntary benefits, paid absences, and retirement benefits.
