# Sr. Director, Senior Counsel

Oncourse Home Solutions (OHS) is looking for a Sr. Director, Senior Counsel to join their team in Mt. Laurel, NJ. OHS is a people-centric organization that helps homeowners navigate the unexpected, reduce costs, and make homeownership enjoyable for all. This role will manage the legal support function for the marketing and operations departments, including advising on commercial agreements, litigation, customer terms and condition, marketing strategy and materials, privacy laws and consumer protection laws.

## Responsibilities
* Advise on commercial agreements, litigation, customer terms and condition, marketing strategy and materials, privacy laws and consumer protection laws
* Lead a team of one attorney and one compliance manager
* Provide enterprise level support on privacy matters

## Experience and Qualifications
* JD licensed in NJ or IL (required)
* 10+ years of law firm or in-house experience
* Experience effectively handling a variety of matters displaying strong business acumen
* Ability to effectively spot legal issues and determine practical, workable options for resolving them
* Results-focused experience, has worked in fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
* Strong people management skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively with all levels through the organization
* Proficiency in Microsoft

Oncourse Home Solutions (OHS) is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sr. Director, Senior Counsel to join their team in Mt. Laurel, NJ. This role is responsible for managing the legal support function for the marketing and operations departments, including advising on commercial agreements, litigation, customer terms and condition, marketing strategy and materials, privacy laws and consumer protection laws, and leading a team of one attorney and one compliance manager.

The ideal candidate for this position must have a JD licensed in NJ or IL (required), 10+ years of law firm or in-house experience, and demonstrate experience effectively handling a variety of matters displaying strong business acumen. This role also requires strong people management, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft is required.

Competencies such as decision quality, integrity and trust, perspective, problem solving, action orientation, and communication effectiveness are also required for this role.
