The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience with commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, leasing, lending, finance, real estate joint ventures and land development projects.

**Real Estate Staff Attorney - West Coast Offices**

**Job Summary:**

The Real Property Practice Group of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a staff attorney to join its Affordable Housing team in one of its West Coast offices. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience with commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, leasing, lending, finance, real estate joint ventures and land development projects.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

- Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, leasing, lending, finance, real estate joint ventures and land development projects
- Handle significant individual responsibilities for more than one supervising attorney
- Demonstrate empathy for each client’s and each lawyer’s work and personal pressures, business objectives, and legal needs
- Anticipate clients’ needs and have the capabilities and commitment to deliver what matters most to them
- Provide excellent opportunities for professional development

**Required Qualifications**

- 3+ years of experience with commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, leasing, lending, finance, real estate joint ventures and land development projects
- An emphasis on lender side financing experience, affordable housing, and prior law firm experience is preferred
- Strong title and survey experience and an ability to work with paralegals
- Confidence and self-motivation
- Excellent writing skills and high level of attention to detail
- Positive professional references
- Active, in good standing state bar license
