Are you an experienced bankruptcy attorney looking for a new opportunity? Look no further! Our law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team and manage high volume statewide bankruptcy matters for our clients. In this role, you will provide oversight and management for bankruptcy cases, ensuring that all appropriate actions are taken to expedite files and oversee department paralegals. You will also act as a liaison between clients, vendors, outside counsel, courts, trustees, and other bankruptcy personnel.

As a Bankruptcy Attorney, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills and experience in residential foreclosure, creditor rights, and bankruptcy law to provide exceptional legal services to our clients. You must be licensed to practice law in the state of hire and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in bankruptcy, creditor rights, and residential foreclosure. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential, as you will be managing a high volume of files and ensuring data integrity in our case management system.

Responsibilities:

- Manage high volume statewide bankruptcy matters for client cases
- Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, codes and the like
- Communicate with clients, internal staff and others to ensure case is handled appropriately
- Input and maintain information into case management system and ensure data integrity
- Attend hearings, settlement conferences and other appearances as necessary
- Establish a strong follow-up system to ensure deadlines are not missed for which various pleadings must be served and filed.
- Prioritize and work at a fast pace on a high volume of files, with a great attention to detail
- Travel to court and clients, as necessary
- Other duties as assigned.
