Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the General Liability Associate Attorney include:

- Handling all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery.
- Representing clients in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Providing defense for a variety of property and personal injury claims for businesses and individuals.
- Excelling in the litigation and trial of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation cases.
- Working collaboratively with partners and senior associates who are seasoned trial attorneys.
- Obtaining top defense verdicts of the year and receiving other prominent recognition.
- Utilizing strong research and writing skills to effectively represent clients.
- Adhering to ethical standards and maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
- Continuously developing and improving skills to provide the best possible representation for clients.

Qualifications

- Admission to the Washington Bar is required.
- Two (2) to seven (7) years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Experience in all phases of litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery.
- Experience representing clients in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with partners and senior associates.
- Ability to excel in the litigation and trial of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ethical standards and professionalism.
- Willingness to continuously develop and improve skills.

Compensation

- Minimum salary of USD $120, per year.
- Maximum salary of USD $165, per year.
