Land Use Associate - Join Our Growing Team at a Leading Law Firm in Orange County!

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP is seeking a highly qualified Land Use Associate with three to five years of solid land use experience to join our team. We offer a competitive salary range of $240,000-$305,000, along with additional medical, financial, and other benefits.

Our land use group combines law with strategic insight and strong government contacts to help clients obtain entitlements, permits, and approvals. We work with developers, property owners, investors, public agencies, and nonprofits to guide complex and sensitive projects through an increasingly intricate regulatory compliance and approval process.

As a Land Use Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and make a real impact in shaping the communities we serve. We are looking for candidates who have a strong interest in and enthusiasm for land use issues and trends, and who are committed to diversity and inclusion.

Requirements:

- Three to five years of solid land use experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail; excellent legal research and analytical skills
- Effective and efficient problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively, and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs
- California Bar membership in good standing
