Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Biotechnology Patent Prosecution Associate to join their team. Duties:

  • Manage biotechnology patent prosecution matters
  • Draft and file patent applications and responses to office actions
  • Work with inventors and clients to ensure effective protection of intellectual property
  • Conduct patentability, validity, and infringement analyses
  • Advise clients on biotechnology patent strategy and portfolio management
  • Participate in client meetings and communication regarding patent matters
  • Collaborate with legal teams and support staff to meet client needs

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in biotechnology patent prosecution
  • . in biology, molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemistry, or a related field
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle complex legal and technical issues
  • Strong client-facing abilities and interpersonal skills
