## Nursing Home Collections Associate Attorney

Law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join its Litigation department. The successful candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice law in New York State, and possess hands-on plaintiff side litigation knowledge.

This position is based out of Lake Success, NY.

Law firm is looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its Litigation department. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of litigation experience in state courts with hands-on plaintiff side litigation knowledge. The candidate must have a detailed understanding of the CPLR and Supreme Court rules, strong oral communication skills, and be prepared to meet and interact with clients, court staff, adversaries, witnesses, etc.

The candidate must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in New York State. In addition, the candidate must have a demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in an effective manner. Strong work ethic and organizational skills, as well as proficiency with MS Word and Outlook are also required.

Experience with ProLaw and/or Centerbase, knowledge of collection, guardianship, Medicaid, and/or estate law, and familiarity with the FDCPA are preferred, but not required.
