The Law Firm of Cole, Scott & Kissane is seeking a highly motivated and hardworking attorney to join our General Liability practice group. This is a full-time position located in Tallahassee, Florida. We are looking for a skilled attorney with a strong background in defending businesses and individuals in a variety of legal matters, including premises liability, products liability, and other torts. The ideal candidate will have prior litigation experience, but it is not required. If you are a licensed member of the Florida Bar and possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and research skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct depositions and defend depositions
- Draft and argue dispositive motions
- Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
- Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
- Prepare pleadings and correspondence
- Communicate effectively with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
- Provide exceptional legal counsel to clients

Qualifications:

- Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior litigation experience preferred, but not required
