H1: Senior Associate Attorney - Business and Construction Litigation H2: Responsibilities and Requirements Law Firm Seeking Experienced Business and Construction Litigation Attorney Role Summary: The Senior Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel to existing clients and handle a variety of tasks related to business and construction litigation matters. This includes conducting legal research, drafting documents, consulting with clients and experts, and representing clients in court, depositions, and mediations. Location and Commitments: - Department: Business Litigation - Status: Full-Time / Exempt - Work Schedule: Flexible, but must be available during regular business hours - Work Location: Hybrid in Maitland, FL or Fully Remote in Florida Responsibilities: - Prepare legal documents and correspondence for contract negotiations and litigation proceedings - Conduct legal research and attend client meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings - Take depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts - Analyze case facts and develop litigation strategy - Communicate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients - Maintain client files and meet billing goals Requirements: - At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role - Florida Bar Admission - Strong research, writing, and legal analysis skills - Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively - Meeting expectations for billing goals and time entry Work Environment: - Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time - Perform duties in English - Think strategically and communicate effectively Physical Demands: - Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities - Willingness to meet essential job functions Benefits: - Generous benefits package offered - Compensation based on experience level and client orientation Salary Information: - Commensurate with experience level and client orientation
